TAGUARD BLE beacons bring enterprise temperature monitoring and asset tracking to any environment. The TAG K5PT uses Long-Range (PHY Coded) BLE on the Nordic nRF52833 chip for up to ~800 m of reach — with 1,100 m achieved in open-field tests alongside the TAG GT01 gateway, which also supports PHY Coded.

What range can I expect indoors vs open field?
Up to about 800 m is the rated range; open-field tests with the TAG GT01 gateway have reached 1,100 m. Indoor range depends on walls and interference, but PHY Coded dramatically outperforms standard BLE.
Do I need the TAG GT01 gateway?
The gateway captures beacon data at scale and supports PHY Coded for long range. Phones can also read beacons for lighter deployments and verification.
